I was thoroughly unimpressed with the experience. I required assistance with a pair of stud diamond earrings that I sold to 2 guys. The customer needed reassurance and wanted the diamonds to be tested and their GIA number verified. However, they simply refused to assist. I understand their stance, but I asked the young lady if she could obtain the diamond tester really quick to assist us. She promptly sent the general manager.
What they did not know behind the scenes was that the two gentlemen who I brought with me were also looking for a 2-carat matching natural diamond pendant to complement the earrings that I sold them.
I had specifically arranged for these gentlemen to meet me at Tiffany’s (since they are rich) as my former friend Kelly used to work for this company eight years ago and thought to give them the store some business. If they had assisted with verifying of 3.80ct Natural stud GIA number, a 2ct Rd natural diamond pendant the VS—F in yellow gold would’ve been sold. They were ready buyers. I was sad to see an establishment with their nose up (still) years later are still living out this way. If they had to live from one case to another it seems as a very big deal at Tiffany’s. Feels like 0 service after the sale. Imagine a pendant potentially valued at $30,000-$40,000 which totally slipped out of their hands. My clients were ready buyers and real estate developers.
Customer decided not to stay and look at any pendant or do business with them after hearing 2 rejections and ended up going to Newman Marcus to see what they had in stock.
Truly sad folks.
Bought several jewelry pieces here as gifts. Came in this evening to look for another gift, I told the lady my price range and she snapped and said that they don’t have anything within that range and jetted off. Very rude and unprofessional. Looking at most recent review this seems to be a reoccurring issue. Will definitely not shop at Tiffany’s anymore after that experience.
Horrible customer service. Came in trying to buy a gift for wife. Ask two employees for help. Both said they had to call for help. Then after waiting 5 minutes I asked for ETA, im told 10 minutes. The store had just opened. This store has gone down hill. I had to go up to legacy west to make my purchase as they actually offer good customer service at that location
Extremely rude, unprofessional and condescending staff. Pls take your business elsewhere.
