  I'm writing in regards the outstanding customer service I recently received from Johnny, the store manager on McKinney Ave, Dallas, Texas. I had a big package that weighed approximately 30 lbs. Because my office is about a quarter mile from this UPS store, I decided to stop in and ask if they provided pick up service since my car was in the shop. Johnny quickly offered to walk over and pick up the package using a portable wagon. I was reluctant to accept his offer because it was one of the hottest days in Dallas- 105 degrees. He insisted on helping, and I am very grateful that he did! I drop off packages at this location frequently. He greets every customer with a smile and is very polite to his staff. I wish that more locations had a rockstar manager like Johnny! Tina

  They will try to sell you a box for amazon returns at all cost when no needed anywhere else

  One August morning in 2026, I needed a printout and I took my USB drive to the UPS store on McKinney av. It turned out to be a little more complicated than I expected and Jim(?) who was working there came by and walked through the complications in his good natured way and got me through the surgery in one piece. Eventually when I was ready to pay, I was told not to bother and just write an honest review instead. So here it is, promise kept!

  Very rude employee. I visited the store to return two AT&T routers. Before it was my turn, I observed the employee chatting warmly and being very friendly with other customers. However, when I stepped up with my two return boxes, he asked why there were two boxes and then said he "wanted to punch me in the face." After seeing my reaction, he said it was "just a joke." I did not find the comment funny. I felt uncomfortable and threatened, so I simply smiled and completed my transaction. I also felt that I was treated differently from the customers before me. While I can't know the employee's intent, the contrast in how I was treated left me feeling unwelcome. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect when visiting a business. Jokes about physical violence are inappropriate in a customer service setting, and I hope the store addresses this so other customers do not have a similar experience.
