  Today, I called my Allstate agent Stanley Smith to cancel my renter's policy, and he answered the phone himself. Rather than taking 5 minutes to conduct the usual identity verification over the phone and to look up my account to assist me, he immediately instructed me to email him the info and tried to hang up on me. I expressed my concern that I was not getting the needed support, as I was locked out of my account and could not get the policy number. He played dumb and asked if I needed help finding his email address. When I reiterated my concerns, he made it clear he was not going to assist, so I hung up. Why are Allstate's agents getting so much more abrasive and less helpful than in years past? Glad I switched to Geico!

  No matter who I talk to in the office, I am always treated like a close friend of the family. Everyone is courteous, friendly, and will stop and do whatever they need to do to help me with any questions or concerns I have.
