I have never had a bad experience at this location until today. I came in to return three separate items, and from the moment I approached the counter, the employee, Jasmine, did not acknowledge me or greet me. Instead, she immediately grabbed her scanner and began processing items without allowing me to explain the reason for my visit.
From the start, her attitude was unprofessional and unpleasant. I understand that working with customers all day can be stressful, but I was polite and respectful throughout the interaction.
The issue arose when she refused to scan my third item. I had clearly stated from the beginning that I was returning three items, but she had only scanned two. When I pointed this out, she told me that I didn’t know how to count. I calmly explained again that I had three items and asked her to scan the last one. At that point, she looked at me as if I was the one causing confusion, despite me having clearly communicated the number of items I was returning.
The entire interaction was embarrassing and made me feel disrespected in front of other customers. There was also an older employee with red hair and another employee wearing glasses who witnessed the interaction, yet neither stepped in to address the situation.
This experience was extremely disappointing. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, and no one should be made to feel belittled while completing a simple return. I hope UPS addresses this issue and provides additional customer service training to ensure future customers are treated professionally and courteously.
As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this location.
