I do NOT play about my money, and this experience was beyond frustrating.
I went in to return a phone and purchase a different one. The manager, Julie, took my $75 restocking fee and then afterward told me I was supposedly outside the 7-day return period. I understand that some stores may have different return policies, and that’s completely fine. What is NOT fine is taking my money first and then telling me the transaction can’t be completed while refusing to return MY $75.
To make things even worse, Julie actually suggested Cash Apping me the money herself, which I found incredibly unprofessional. Then when I asked for answers, I was told, “Well then you’re going to wait all night because they’re not answering me.”
I work too hard for my money to be treated this way. If you’re handling customers’ money, you should know the policies before taking payment and treat people with respect. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I’ve had. The employee named Gerardo is really nice though.
Whatever the woman’s name is at the Bastrop location—Julie , or something similar—she was extremely unprofessional and rude. I won’t get into all the details of my situation, but based on my experience, I would strongly recommend being absolutely sure about a phone before purchasing it through this location.What was most frustrating was that she seemed unfamiliar with the company’s policies and appeared unsure about many of the questions I asked. Rather than verifying information before taking action, she often provided answers without checking first, which led to confusion and a very poor customer service experience. Overall, the service I received was disappointing and left me with little confidence in the assistance provided.
Cricket Wireless decided to suspend a line of service that I had for over 7 years because they claim I used a phone SIM card in a tablet. I don't even have any tablets. This created a huge inconvenience because I was unable to make or receive calls, causing me to miss calls for gigs to earn money. The monthly payment for my account had already been paid so I paid for service I did not receive. They refused to restore the service or give me an account credit or refund which by definition is fraud. We canceled all Cricket service and switched to another carrier to prevent this from happening to any of our other phone lines.
