To Whom It May Concern,
On June 4, 2026, I purchased an Electro Air Touch Pro II Bluetooth Headset (White) from the Cricket Wireless store located at 9616 N. Lamar Blvd., Suite 175A, Austin, TX 78753. According to my receipt, the sales associate who assisted me was Simon P.
At the time of purchase, I specifically asked about the return policy. Simon informed me that if the headset did not work properly or if I experienced any issues with it, I would be able to return it. Based on that representation, I purchased the headset.
Unfortunately, the headset does not function properly. When I returned to the store to request a refund or exchange, I was assisted by another employee named Aaron, who stated that she was the Area Manager. Aaron informed me that accessories cannot be returned and refused to honor the information provided to me by Simon at the time of sale.
I explained that I relied on Simon’s statement when making my purchase and that I would not have purchased the headset had I been told that all accessory sales were final. Despite this, my request was denied.
I was misled regarding the store’s return policy. If accessories are truly non-returnable, that information should have been clearly disclosed before the sale. Customers should not be given inaccurate information that influences their purchasing decisions.
In my experience, the management and staff at this location have been unprofessional and untrustworthy. Customers should be cautious and make sure they receive the store’s return policy in writing before purchasing any accessories. Based on my experience, I believe some employees may say whatever is necessary to complete a sale and earn a commission, only for customers to later discover that the promises made at the time of purchase will not be honored. The name speaks for itself!
