I have been to 2 different cricket wireless stores. The 1st to make the purchase in 2018 which was awesome and the 2nd to buy my husband an iPhone for father’s day. Both stores handled everything perfectly and professionally. Today we stop by this location because we are in the area and my daughter needed a new phone. The 1st lady whom I’m not sure what her name is starts to take care of us and is told what number we are purchasing the phone for. (Note my daughter called in advance) Then Yessenia takes over and proceeds to make the change but registers the phone and new SIM card to the wrong phone number. (Mine) when I bought my husbands, I bought the phone and used the existing SIM card. So, needless to say, things were handled wrong on two processes already. They tried to fix it by switching SIM cards back and then my daughter could not make calls to me. (Obviously at this point the new phone doesn’t know what number to work with) my daughter was told she had to create a new iCloud account and that the issue was iCloud. So we give them the benefit of the doubt and go home (18 minutes away ) and my daughter tries her best to make it work. It will not take her gmail, new iCloud, apps taking 5+ minutes to download, etc. I call the store and talk to Justo the manager whom at this point has done everything to blame all on the phone and updates rather than accept that his employee made a mistake. (Mistakes are fine, just own up to them). So now we go back to the store after a phone call to Justo, the manager as he said he would take care of us. He starts to try and fix and sees the same things we are seeing and continues to blame iCloud ( note: icloud working fine on other phone) So, I tell him again, we are a family of 6 and all have iPhones. I know iPhones and something was wrong from the very beginning. He said to me.. ( well if you know iPhones so well, why didn’t you fix it?? ) 😮 Shocking! I told him, you know I am in sells and if I handled things like you, i would be out of a job. He told me I was hostile. I told him telling you what you don’t like to hear is not considered being hostile and I needed to speak to corporate. Needless to say, no number was supplied as expected. Accept responsibility! It is ok to make mistakes. We all do it but do not lash out on customers for your employees mistakes. (Note: a complaint has been filed and I do not recommend this store to anyone who is expecting knowledgeable and professional service.) Refund was issued less the activation fee, which more so prompted this review. How are we going to pay for an activation on a phone we didn’t get?? I never write reviews but I had to with this experience.
