  As soon as I walk in to the store I'm greeted with a friendly hello and a very nice warm welcome to advance auto parts the management is by far the best ive delt with in any store the manager here also knows what hes talking about the employees are also very helpful and very nice I live 35 minuets away and I choose to always come here bc of how they treat me here at the store I should also say that the store is always looking nice and clean every product is easy to find bc its front faced like it should be by far if i could give 10 stars it would be 10 out of 10

  UPDATE: We originally left a 1-star review after being sold the wrong brake line twice. When we tried to return the second incorrect part, I was told I couldn't because of a computer issue and would have to wait until the general manager was there the next day. Shortly after posting my review, the general manager left a 1-star review on our HVAC business, despite never being a customer of ours or receiving any service from our company. It's disappointing to see a legitimate customer complaint met with what appears to be a personal response rather than an effort to resolve the issue. We simply wanted the correct part and professional customer service. ORIGINAL: Gave me the wrong brake line twice, can’t return the second one due to some computer bull. Says I’d have to return the next day when general manager is in. Highly recommend using another parts store!

  Prices are a little higher than online but Marcus was so helpful. He got all the parts I needed in one go rather than having me make multiple trips. His customer service was amazing. 10/10 for this team, thank you guys!

  First off, if you can wait a few shipping days, you can buy any part they sell here for a fraction of the cost on ROCKAUTO. After seeing prices for the exact same part, same brand, same same item # on rockauto vs advance you realize how much you are getting ripped off. A part that costs $100 at advance, you can expect to pay around $25-35 plus 8.99 shipping. It’s crazy! Just check! My real reason for the poor rating is that they refused to take back, for store credit, an unopened pack of hose clamps ($4) that turned out I did not need. I lost the receipt, my fault, and I didn’t give them my phone number when asked, because I didn’t think the reward points on $4 was worth the time. Again an unopened package couldn’t be returned without a receipt for store credit. Buy from Giles auto if in Newport and need it now. If you can wait a few days, checkout the price difference on rock auto, and watch as your jaw hits the floor.
