Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a Subway.
We waited nearly 20 minutes for three sandwiches while only one employee was working the front. She kept repeating what I asked for and forgetting ingredients as orders were being made. The line continued to grow, and at least two customers left because they were tired of waiting.
A second employee eventually came out to help, but it became clear she was still being trained, which only added to the confusion. I was also told I couldn't customize one of the new wraps with the vegetables I wanted which was disappointing.
The most concerning issue happened after we sat down to eat. I found a piece of a disposable food-service glove hanging out of my wrap. When I pulled on it, half of a glove fingertip came out of the food.
I understand businesses can be short-staffed and that training new employees is necessary, but this location appeared completely unprepared to handle the lunchtime rush. The combination of slow service, order confusion, customers leaving due to the wait, and finding part of a glove in my food made for a very disappointing experience. I hope management addresses both the staffing and food safety concerns.
