About two weeks ago. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience really stuck with me. While shopping, I overheard two employees having a loud conversation about an ongoing court case. During the conversation, they made comments about “white people” in a way that felt inappropriate and unprofessional for a workplace.
What concerned me most wasn’t just the conversation itself—it was the impact it seemed to have on another employee. An older white woman who appeared to be working with them looked visibly uncomfortable and distressed. From where I was standing, she looked like she was holding back tears, and I believe I saw her leave the area crying.
No customer should feel like they’re witnessing workplace hostility, and no employee should have to work in an environment where they appear intimidated or singled out. Regardless of anyone’s race, conversations like this don’t belong on the sales floor, especially within earshot of customers and coworkers.
I hope management looks into the workplace culture at this location and ensures that all employees are treated with respect and professionalism.
