  Chris, who is an employee at this location is an outstanding young man. Chris went above and beyond to help our daughter who had a tire issue while traveling through Knoxville and he helped her with the situation and a portable air pump. Chris took the time to be kind and respectful to our daughter in a very stressful situation. His automotive knowledge and customer service set the bar to the highest level. Advance Auto Parts should take great pride in employing a young man of such high character and work ethic as Chris. They are very lucky to have Chris representing their company. I hope AAP sees this and recognizes Chris. We are blown away at how he helped turn a potentially bad situation into a positive one. He took the time to insure our daughter was safe and that she clearly understood the situation with the tire and air pressure. Thank you Chris for actually doing your job! Taking pride in that job, and just being an outstanding human being. This young man will run this company one day.

  Justin was so helpful! I had stopped by another retailer looking for help and was not really given any options. Justin was nice and friendly from the start- even when it started raining he remained positive and upbeat. We laughed and figured it out together - when I left my car was working better than before and I learned so much along the way. I’m so excited to be able to do the work myself next time. :) I bought the parts I needed and even got this awesome tool to make it easier for me the next time! Thanks so much Justin - we have multiple cars in our large family and we will always come back here for anything we need because of the amazing service and help we received today.

  Went in for some supplemental parts for a brake job. They had a limited selection, and prices were much higher than online competitors. Reserved a rental tool that showed "in stock" but was told that they couldn't find it. They sent me to another location who told me I could return it to the original location. Original location wouldn't accept when I attempted to return it. Lots of hassle.
