  On July 22nd give or take a day I went into the store and purchased a phone and plan. I was told after 6 months consecutive service the phone would be eligible for unlock another employee who was not working at the time told me that the policy changed to 365 days of service. At the time I told them the only reason I was going with them was the 6 month unlock that I had been told about. When confronted with the issue they did not care that they had misrepresented the info and even admitted to telling me that they told me 6 months then on the phone today I was told 6 months by the service rep on a recorded call and when I asked for them to document the problem so that I could get the phone unlocked in 6 months they refused I escalated to a supervisor. Who then proceeded to tell I had to wait 365. In the span of an hour today I was give different information 4 times. Would absolutely not recommend for poor business practices and lying to the consumer just to get them to spend money. I am absolutely appalled with the service I have gotten from cricket. Nothing worse than a lier except a thief and they are both.

  I've had Cricket as my phone carrier for many years. There's been times when I've been tempted to switch because another carrier has an incredible sounding offer available, but then I remember how reliable my service has been, how I never have any dropped calls, and how many of my friends don't have service in areas where I always do. That's what keeps me as a loyal Cricket customer. When I've had an issue (rarely), customer service has always been great. Plus, I'm still paying the same price as I did when I joined...$50 for an unlimited plan. I'm not a big gamer but I do post a lot of pictures/videos, and this plan suits me perfectly.
