I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Subway inside CoolSprings Galleria Mall in Franklin, TN. If I could give 0 stars i absolutely would.
The employee working around 11:30–11:45 a.m. was rude and argumentative from the moment I placed my order. I ordered a six-inch Spicy Italian on Italian bread and was met with an attitude throughout the entire interaction.
The biggest issue came when I asked for extra pickles. The employee initially put only a few pickles on the sandwich, and when I politely asked for extra and offered to pay any additional charge, she responded that if she didn’t want to put them on the sandwich, she didn’t have to. Instead of providing customer service, she argued with me.
I was also disappointed by the quality of the ingredients. The lettuce appeared wilted and not fresh.
When I requested condiments such as salt, pepper, oil and vinegar, and mayonnaise, very little was added. After I asked for a little more mayonnaise, an excessive amount was put on the sandwich, which felt intentionally spiteful.
Everyone has bad days, but customers should still be treated with basic respect. I work in customer service myself, and this was one of the most unpleasant fast-food experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I will not be returning to this location unless significant improvements are made to both customer service and food quality.
