This location appears to be intentionally limiting basic sandwich toppings in a way that feels completely inconsistent with the Subway brand.
During my visit, the portions for standard toppings were shockingly small. When I asked for mayonnaise, only a tiny dot was added. When I requested salt and pepper of all things, I received a single shake of them. These are basic toppings that are supposed to be included as part of the sandwich, yet they were rationed to the point that the sandwich felt unfinished.
Not only that, they are rushing the process. Nothing about my “toasted” sandwich was hot. The cheese not even melted.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that Subway markets consistency across locations. Customers expect a similar experience no matter which store they visit. Unfortunately, this location seems to be operating under its own rules by severely restricting ingredients that should normally be standard.
If this is a store-level decision to cut costs by limiting toppings, it reflects very poorly on the brand. Subway corporate should seriously review what is happening at this location because it undermines customer trust and the consistency that a national chain is supposed to provide.
I would strongly recommend that management address this issue so customers receive the same quality and portions they would expect at any other Subway.
