    My husband ordered an important package a few weeks ago. After over an hour on the phone with UPS, two messed up house deliveries on their end, and then creation of a myUPS Choice account to allow me (his wife) to re-route the package for my husband to the Dickson UPS store, I was hopeful the rest of this terrible UPS experience would be smooth. I was assured by UPS that as the designated “pick up person”, I could take my ID to the Dickson store to pick up the package. However, the Dickson UPS store has managed to somehow make this experience with UPS even worse. Today I made my second trip to the Dickson UPS store for this package (as the first time the package had not arrived at the store, even though it was the date for pickup on the myUPS Choice tracking app), but I was met with the fact that I could not pick up the package because my name was not on the box (instead my husband’s is). My ID shows the same address and I am the designated pick up person in the myUPS account but the owner of the Dickson UPS store did not even bother to look this up and said it would not matter if I pulled up myUPS Choice app to show her I am the designated pick up person. Instead she claimed my husband could “get mad at her” and it “has happened before with others”, so she could only release the package to the name on the package with ID. This store does not follow UPS’ own guidelines that we had to spend hours working with UPS customer service to get lined up. We will not use this UPS location again, as all we are looking for is a shipping company that delivers on time and helps in times of mistakes and this store has done neither of those. I highly do not recommend this store!
