Went here back in February and it was really only because I received a coupon in my local mail and my boyfriend and I had not gone out to eat in a while and decided to treat ourselves.
Well, the girl checking out our food (who did not work on any of it) could apparently not get the coupon to work, and her only next best option she said she could give us was giving us a 7% discount- even though with our coupon we were suppose to get 2 footlongs for the price of 1. Even though she couldn't get it to work, she still took the coupon from us and put it in their pile of other coupons which was also a bit confusing?? Like why take it from me if you couldn't get it to work?
We had told her what we each ordered for our subs and she repeated it back to us while she was ringing the food up. Some how, even with the discount she added, the total for the 2 footlongs ended up costing DOUBLE what we were expecting to initially pay, and for a bit of context neither of us had added extra cheese or meat on them for it to turn out that way.
In our situation, we honestly felt pressured in having to pay even though we didn't want the sandwiches anymore for how much it was costing us, but we did (and we'll never do that again).
Bf and I get home and I'm looking at the receipt more now because the price of what our 2 footlongs costed still didn't make sense and I wante to see the prices for each one. And that's when I saw she had completely rang up our subs wrong and put that we got avacado added to the subs (we didn't), which is an up charge apparently. My boyfriend is ALLERGIC to avacado, and I woudn't put that on a cheesesteak 🤢
We were so done with the situation we didn't bother going back to the store directly to look into a refund. I did however submit feedback on the store through Subway's website that day and requested to have someone give me a call back about my experience at this Subway but I never did.
If you decide to go to this location, I suggest not even bothering with a coupon and advise that you check your receipt for what you were charged for before leaving.
