Got a room for 3 nights paid extra for a whirlpool room whirlpool was broken. Staff would not move me to another room and couldnt tell me if it would be fixed in the 3 days only reason i went cause i have a back injury and really needed a whirlpool so did nothing to make it better kept my money too
I arrived to find the floor damp. I thought housekeeping must have just mopped the floor and it hadn't had time enough to dry. So I took some towels and dry mopped the floor. Much to my surprise the floor was not only wet it was filthy. So I was watching TV for about an hour and I went into the bathroom, and surprisingly, the floor was wet again! There was moisture coming from underneath the tile! Now, my wife and,I are starting to cough with a raspy throat and it occurred to me there must be mold in here as well. So at about 9 Pm we packed up a and left. The woman at the desk would not refund our money or even the deposit. How this place got a plus rating from best western is very concerning. I used to stay at BW a lot but not anymore! Sad to watch them go down.

Great value. Due to a family emergency I suddenly found myself needing a pet friendly hotel in a beach location. I hadn't stayed in a best western in over 20 years and had very low expectations. They far surpassed my expectations. I would stay in one again. Wish they had suites so I could fit my family of 5. But they're affordable enough that I could book 2 rooms. Very nice staff and breakfast was good enough. Comfy beds. Only improvements I would make are better pillows and more tv channels but for the price, it's hard to complain.
Mr bob at the front desk is very helpful! Polite and courteous as well. Rooms are always clean and well kept the breakfast is amazing! One of my favorite places to stay when I’m on the road!
We chose this hotel based on reviews, and I would say they are fairly accurate. If you are looking for a place to sleep with decent beds and normal amenities, this will suffice. Just make sure you get a room with a working air conditioner. Ours was rattling all night, and even though we set the temperature at 68 degrees (later lowered to 66 degrees without any change in temperature), the room never got cool. We sweated through the night, and my wife barely slept due to the noise, even though we stacked our luggage on the A/C unit trying to stop the noise. The next day we asked to be moved to a different room, and they happily accommodated us and even apologized, which is nice as that is not always the case anymore. The next room's A/C worked much better. Anyway, the rest of the room was as expected for this class of hotel - scratches on the floor, furniture and walls; a shower curtain that was too short which means that one end always opens up to the cold air, a shower valve that wasn't fully functional which left half of the water running down the spigot instead of the shower head (thereby causing lower pressure) - you get the idea. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was reasonable, even sporting an automated pancake dispenser that made tiny pancakes. If you have the spare time and the weather permits, you can check out the porch area by the river. It's actually quite nice and scenic. It's not the best value in the area, but it works if you get the right room.
