  Took my son’s 2014 Ford Fusion in because he said the “battery light” was on (it turned out to be the check engine light) and it was running rough. Initially took it to Palmetto Ford, because I assumed they were the experts in all things Ford, who then kept the car for several weeks with almost no communication or status updates, while we paid for a rental car the whole time. They ultimately replaced the computer, which did nothing to fix the problem, and charged about $2,200 for it. I then took the car to the wonderful Advance Auto on Coakley Ave in Mount Pleasant, where they diagnosed a misfire and recommended a tune-up, free of charge. I would have done this much earlier, but I assumed incorrectly that the Ford dealership had run the basic diagnositcs. A far more competent independent shop in Mount Pleasant did the tune-up for $600, and the problem was solved. Really wish I'd started the process with a trip to Advance Auto where the customer service is unfailingly excellent.

  Tichina is an exceptional employee and person. She was the only person working the store on a busy Sunday morning and could not have been more helpful or pleasant as person after person filed in with issues. She kept her cool and was incredibly patient with every individual despite being so busy. This world needs more of her!

  Purchased some brake/all wheel cleaner for one of my exotics today. Excellent employee mentioned there was a special on the product. Contacted the manager or owner who provided me with the discount even though the discount wasn't advertised or correctly being applied at the register. Would give 10 stars if I could. Best Customer service for simple auto needs in Mt.P
