So I went to the FedEx office on Haywood Road on a Monday, and the guy was very helpful. I had just moved to Greenville, and was sending some boxes to my sister in VA. I had not switched over my address yes, and I asked him to update the ship from address to my address here which he did with NO problem. (Of course he scanned my DL per FedEx policy) Shipped my box and off I went. He was very polite, and courteous and did everything he could to accommodate my request.
I went back 4 days later and shipped the second box to my sister, and had a totally different horrible experience. This was a totally different guy who helped me the second time. He scanned my DL, like normal, and when he asked me to verify everything I said you need to update the ship from address because its incorrect, his nasty response was well we can only go by whats on the DL. I indicated that I recently moved to GVL, and had not had time to update everything. He said well you have to bring in a bill or lease or something to show you are a resident of GVL. I about grabbed my box and left. He was rude and frankly down right horrible. The gentlemen behind me commented as such when we left the store, as I was sitting in my car when he walked out.
I use FedEx out of convenience, but if that type of service continues, I will definitely go back to UPS.
