  Great location to downtown restaurants and shops. Comfortable renovated room. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good and dining area was clean.

  Well maintained, “old” hotel in downtown Beaufort. Rooms feel rmoden and newly refurbished and are quiet. Bedding is fantastic and very comfy. Staff is friendly and quick to assist. Breakfast is exceptional. Hotel offers easy access to downtown and the beaches. Only thing missing is laundry service or a utility room with a W&D. (Also, parking is $10/night.)

  The hotel is generally okay, but it needs repairs. The repairs are not the kind you can report and have fixed; they are hotel-wide. The walls, ceilings, and floors have cracks, scratches, and scuffs. The bed clunked when we got up. I could see daylight through the door. I suspect most of the rooms need renovations. Service was an effort to get, so I feel staying 7 days is too long.

  A group has been using this hotel for over 20 years. Most of the time, we would arrive by boat at the City Marina and walk across the street to the hotel. In the summer, with the heat and humidity, it was nice to walk into office where they had an ice chest with cold, wet towels for us to wipe down with and cool off. Then, to top it off, in the evening after dinner to pop into the office and get a cold Klondike Bar! What I'm saying is, the staff goes overboard to provide extras to make your stay special! The staff and food for breakfast is also great! Thank you for hosting our group these many years! Ken
