  I stopped in today because my check engine light came on and I was far from home. John was absolutely so kind and checked the code and then even helped me check under the hood at some wires and we got it all settled! I would 100% come back again just for the kindness John showed me!

  Gary was super funny and personable. He made the experience shopping for some new accessories for my box truck a very enjoyable and memorable experience. Who knew that shopping at an auto parts store could be so fun. It was like getting a front row seat to a comedy show because he was naturally funny and so relatable.

  If I could give this store negative stars I would. I came in hoping to return an item, to be told their policy is the item cannot be open, though I have returned plenty in the past when the item was opened. I said I understand and after minutes of arguing was offered store credit so I accepted, but looked around the store some more after ( them thinking I left ) they proceeded to talk bad on the situation insisting I thought they were stupid and that I was trying to trick them. Won’t be returning, insanely rude. I never wrote reviews but this rubbed me the wrong way.

  I placed my order online because Advance website was offering 20% off with a $100 purchase. Unfortunately, one item wasn't in stock though the website showed it was. Before I could drive there to pick up the order, I got a call from a store employee (I think his name was Dave) informing me of the issue. He offered a simple enough fix. He could cancel my online order for pickup and I could reorder online, but with the option to have the item not in stock shipped to my house with free shipping. I live near the Pittston Advance Auto, but the Wilkes Barre store was the nearest store with the front brake pads for my '15 VW Touareg TDI, so I was able to pick them up the same day. The 2.5 gallon Blue DEF Platinum (diesel emission fluid) was shipped and received, and I didn't have to kill time at the store to find out the Blue DEF wasn't in stock at the time, cancel that part of the order, and loose the 20% discount on the entire $100 online order. I appreciated the quick call to alert me and my brake pads were ready when I arrived. I'd drive back to the WB store any time. BTW, I'm glad they got the old Wallgreen's store. Great location, plenty of parking & the store inside is always clean, neat & organized!

  Dave helped me out greatly outside with my 07 Honda CRV trying to get my windshield wiper fluid cap stuck into place. Offering me multiple different ways to fix the issue and even getting his own hands dirty! Awesome service must go ! Also Ysmael is the best for giving me the BEST price for the fluid as well. MUST RECOMMEND !!
