I really hate to do this but feel I must. I am doing this for a friend/roommate who just got screwed over by cricket.
We went in over a month ago as we both needed help with Separate things. He asked to be placed on automatic payment and was put on that. I warned him as to why I have never done that with my phone.
Please keep in mind that my roommate is not Internet savy at all.
Well, just this weekend. He was booted from the automatic payment without stating why. Anyway, so he made his payment the old way and had a confirmation text or email as proof. Then he began receiving warnings that his phone had now been disconnected and he now owed $73.00.
So, they refused to do it over the phone and made him come in. They said that the phone could be turned back on for a $15.00 fee! Not $5 and bare in mind that he had proof that he had paid already. Yes they've seen the messages. I have never had problems but then again I don't trust autopay worth a damn. Congratulations, you ripped off a senior citizen for $15! That's another thing. You need to offer senior citizens a discount!

Michelle was amazing. Phone service has never let me down.
Cricket turned my service off after purchasing a new phone said I had a balance how can you have a balance when you give the store the amount they ask for. Charge a reconnection fee and a service fee. Could not get a new phone without paying balance. But of course no refunds to me.
