- IMIndy MaltbyAug 6, 20261.0STORE is NOT affiliated with UPS Did you know that the UPS Store is not a part of UPS Service? All of the stores are misrepresenting themselves. I found that out today when I sent a package. UPS website price was $107. Walked in this store and paid $166. Was told they were not UPS and can charge what they like. I think they need to take the sign down for UPS. They are misrepresenting just what the business is. If not UPS then what, Joes Shipping Service. Are they all doing this, think so. Up Date: I did check out the website for the UPS store. Found all the information that I was told on the page concerning finding the cost of shipping. Hidden way down on the bottom of the page with very small print in a light color. Like any other site that needs to let the public know certain information, it is at a spot that most people would not look, or so small they can't read it . UPS and the UPS stores know this too. I guess they think no one will look, and they are right. With that said, I will not change my mind. It is deceitful. They should be required to post signs (noticeable ones ) that say they are nothing more then a middle man (business). That the prices may be different from those offered direct from UPS. I guess we are back to the days of buyer be aware. Least when I go to Target I know the Starbucks is not a Target, and Target is not a Starbucks.

The bald guy there with earrings needs to be fired. He doesn’t know what he’s doing.
