  I'd like to discuss the Pottstown, Pennsylvania Advanced Auto Parts store # 05866. 09/03/2026 aprx @ 8:27pm to 9pm. They went above and beyond what I expected and was accustomed to in terms of customer care as well as Product knowledge. It was end of the business day, my car had broken down neat the High Street thrift shop after work. I called my AAA service. I suspected a dead battery. My AAA service provider confirmed it was a dead battery. But that they didnt carry it, and tow was unavailable for a long time, due to shortage and many service calls. I luckily had a local contact that took me to the nearest Advanced Auto Parts store. Jb, quite the hero, coworker, nearby. Upon arrival, Leo, a service rep greeted us, looked up the battery. 2014, Lexus Rx450h, hybrid. I said give me the best 1. Leo did bring it over, according to the computer data base provided per make, model. But arriving bsck to my vehicle it clearly did not fit. We returned in a hurry, in attempts to return, exchange, for correct battery. This time Fred, the GM greeted us along with Leo and noticed that it's a different type of battery and size specs. Compared to my oem photo taken at my car. Long story short, they didnt have the exact battery. Fred went out of his way to even call the local competitors = Auto Zone, in efforts to find me a battery so I wasnt stranded on the road. This showed great honor and integrity, beyond the text book, limits of a typical limited response or efforts from a cashier level of service. Fred the GM and service rep Leo went above and beyond. In conclusion, Fred recommended that they did have a stronger battery, that would fit my car. And I did successfully install with the help of "JB", get the battery replaced, and in time bring the core back for credit, all in 1 location. Store # 05866. Id like to thank them very much for that honest effort. They put Pottstown PA on the map and with integrity and personal courage and selfless service efforts shown in result. Please recognize the team assigned at this location. Reward them , they got what I needed, they problem solved, they didnt quit, they didnt turn me away, they assured my resolve as well as safety and success = satisfaction.   Advance Auto Parts in store pick up was great. Got a sale price on line, but shipping would be too much, so I ordered in store pick up. Easy and fast, while convenient, as I planned to do other things nearby. Sometimes the store is under staffed and no assist in swapping battery, or doing diagnostics. Call ahead to make sure they can comply. Sometimes loaner tools are not complete, I guess they are not always checking kits during return. I recommend Advance Auto.

  Website says open until 8:00 arrived at 6:10, several other prospective customers as well, and the door was locked. Posted sign at store stated open Sunday until 7:00. Do you want clients?

  I placed a simple online order. Just 1 (one) headlight replacement bulb. The system says most orders are ready for pick up within 30 minutes. When I went to the counter, they said their system is not showing the order, this is after 49 minutes have passed. With today's technological advancement, you would think that they can easily improve customer experience. I have proof of online purchase for the H7 light bulb. They can't just give it to me or release it even if I have proof of purchase. They said they have to wait until the order shows up in their system to release the order or to give me the part. In my opinion, this is rather insane!
