  Beware--Pay close attention and refuse the "free case and screen protector." You will be charged $60.00 for a phone case and screen protector when purchasing a phone when told that it is "complimentary" to new customers. The insurance plan will also be added to your account without being asked if you wanted it. I was then told that the $60.00 is for the plan and not the accessories False. My Cricket account page shows no reflection of a $60.00 credit toward my account paid at the SHV store. As a matter of fact while walking to the car after making the purchase, I received a text from Cricket that $52 would be charged to my card on the following day for my prorated plan amount. In addition, the employee could not issue me an official receipt and instead wrote on a blank piece of paper. I was charged $100 (Iphone 16E), $25 (activation fee), $7 (tax) plus a mystery $60.00 fee. The employee was adamant that the $60.00 was for my plan. This is false because my Cricket account makes no mention of me paying this amount toward the next month's plan. Cricket's corporate number is no help in resolving issues like this one. FOLLOW-UP--Cricket support commented on this post and told me to contact them. Already did in April. They were not willing to anything to help.
