  I stopped into the Oil City Advance Auto parts because my oil said it was at 10%, my son changed my oil about 4 weeks ago. He did say that I was going to need to eventually replace the bolt. When my oil light came on I figured I was leaking oil. Long story short, I stopped in on Saturday April 11th. Travis assisted me, answered all of my questions and then had some questions for me. Due to my answers, he ended up coming outside to my vehicle, looked under my vehicle, And explain to me that I did not need an entire kit, and that my car was not leaking oil that I just needed my oil life to be reset. He also looked up on his own phone, how to reset my oil and did it for me. Travis went above and beyond expectation to help me and I’m so grateful! He also told me that when I am ready to buy the bolt which he advised me to do it quickly because I did put a little bit of extra oil in there because I thought I was leaking oil and he told me to let some oil out when I change that bolt so it doesn’t harm my vehicle. I hope that Travis gets the recognition that he deserves for going above and beyond to help a customer. In these days that we live in, phenomenal customer service is rare; you have a valuable employee…. That’s a blessing!

  I needed a new battery for my car and Travis at Advance Auto in Oil City, PA. was so helpful, well mannered, & very knowledgeable. He even came out & installed my new battery. You have selected very well in hiring that young man & I hope you pay him well for what he's worth? Thank You Travis & Thank You Advance Auto for offering this service💞 My dealership wanted to charge me an arm & a leg, tho the battery for my car was expensive, it is good to know, it has a 4 year warranty. YOUR STORE & PERSONAL IS GREATLY APPRECIATED‼️

  Very helpful but they say they aren't allowed to clear the codes on your car even though they are allowed to use the same tool (OBD2 SCANNER) to tell you what the code is and what is wrong with your vehicle so that you but the parts from them as they would use to clear the code
