I moved to new castle pa. 8 yrs ago. I spent a lot of money at the east washington st. Location. Just the other day i wanted to return a gasket set and get store credit as i was buying parts to fix my truck. Because i didn't have a receipt i was told no because everybody sells felpro, and bill couldn't find it in the system. So i left, went 5 miles across town one way to order parts and got credit for the gasket set. Picked my parts up the next day. I will never step foot in the other location ever. I have had problems with them for 8 yrs. Selling wrong parts, arguing with me when i wld take them back. I was a mastertech for chrysler. Who in their right mind argues with a mastertech. I suggest a serious revamping of this store and it's staff.

I had my wife order two ignition coils on line,so I could receive the 20% online discount. The first location only had one,so I had to go to another store in town. The 2 coils were bought and paid for via MasterCard online. When I arrive at the store they tell me that they don't have all 5 coils at this time.... I said ok,but I only need 2 and my wife has already bought and paid for them and here is the confirmation order number. They tell me that there was a glitch in the system and that when the order was changed from 5 to 2 some how it was showing that one was paid for and the remaining one had not. I show them that our bank account has an 80 dollar hold from the store. Clerk explains that 50 dollars will be credited in 12 to 24 hours back to our account. I said so I take one of the coils and pay for the other. She said yes. I explain that in no way shape or form that this has been convenient. She explains that they have alot of issues/problems with the on-line ordering system and they usually just give the customer the same discount as on-line when they come into store. I said that sounded a lot easier. I didn't take the one coil I had payed for or pay for they one they computer said that I didn't. I left without either. Said that I would just return tomorrow to see if our account had been credited. If it hadn't then I would just cancel the whole order and be credited the full amount and take my business elsewhere. It's not like Advanced Auto is the only place to get an ignition coil. So after all is said and done. I have no coils and a hold on our account for 2 coils...the employee was courteous and professional in all manners. I feel that there could have been a bigger discount given than the standard discount price,it definitely would have made the inconvenience forgiveable.. hopefully I won't have to go somewhere else.
