I’d give zero stars if I could. Every. Single. Time. I order on the app, something is missing or wrong because… reading is hard?
Last night, I mobile ordered subs for both myself and my husband. To start, I showed up on time to pick up my order and was told “we tried to call you, but we’re out of wheat bread” - it’s 6 o’clock… why are you out of wheat bread, bake more. I used to work there, I know that’s an option… and an afternoon bake is standard. My phone number was also correct in the app when I double checked, yet I had no missed calls. Let that go, even though I’d be late to work waiting in food is ordered 20 minutes prior. I was told “if you want to have a seat, we’ll have that right out.”
So I took a seat… bad decision. In the special comments (since it isn’t an option anywhere else) I asked that the dressing/sauce be on the side of both subs. I’m a night shift nurse and wasn’t going to be eating my sub until I had a chance to take a break, so I didn’t want it to be soggy and was planning on warming up the bacon (BLT) before I ate it. The cashier let me know my food was ready, and handed me the bag. I noticed the sauces for my sub were missing, so I just asked for some… not realizing it was missing because it was ON THE SUB, which would’ve been the girl’s opportunity to own up to her mistake.
So now, cut to 4am when I am FINALLY able to eat my lunch… I’m stuck with this DISGUSTING, soggy, cold sandwich on the wrong bread and SURPRISE , the WRONG CHEESE. I could not be further from disappointed and honestly, HUNGRY.
First and only meal of the day and it’s ruined by laziness and carelessness. Thanks for your service, subway!
