Terrible customer service. I’ve visited many Subway locations over the years, but this one ranks among the worst. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and what should have been a quick stop on my way back to Virginia turned into a very unpleasant experience for me and my fellow travelers.
I placed an online order around 2:30 PM, with a scheduled pickup time of 2:55 PM. I arrived early, around 2:35 PM, and the store had no customers at the time. I waited patiently, but over the next 30 minutes, about 15 walk-in customers came in and were served before me.
By 3:05 PM, my order still wasn’t ready, so I asked the employee at the counter. He responded rudely that my order would only be prepared after all in-person customers were served. When I pointed out that this defeats the purpose of ordering ahead—especially since the line kept growing—I was told, “I can’t do anything about that.”
This approach is both unreasonable and frustrating. It completely defeats the purpose of mobile ordering. The staff at this location clearly need basic training in order management and customer service.
