I use this location pretty often, normally in the afternoon, and I’ve had other poor experiences, but mostly they’ve been OK, although never great. But this morning was the most rude anyone has ever been to me at this location. I can only assume the person was having a bad morning or some other situation, but even then a little common courtesy is in order.
This morning I walked in to do an Amazon return and didn’t see anyone, so I looked towards the back of the store and saw someone sitting near the back. There wasn’t a bell I could ring and I didn’t hear any notification sound when I walked I through the door, so I somewhat quietly said “hello”. I saw no acknowledgement from the person in the back so I said it again, slightly louder. I still had to pull up my return QR code, so I walked around the counter to do so. Once I had it up he still hadn’t come out, so I walked back around to see if he was still back there. I didn’t say anything or make any kind of gesture, and he proceeded to tell me to “calm down dude, you just walked in” while on the phone with someone else. I was a bit taken aback by his rudeness, but assumed he misunderstood so I apologized and explained I just wasn’t sure if he had heard me, since I hadn’t seen any acknowledgement of my presence from him. Then, without another word, he stuck out is hand, took my return, scanned the QR code, put both the package and return label on the counter, handed me my receipt, and walked away to the back.
Normally I wouldn’t leave a review like this for one incident, but given my other past experiences I felt it was needed in this case.
