  You know sometimes you have a job and perhaps you don't realize how what you do impacts people well to the team at Gills Point S in Salem you are a good team and thank you . They were efficient and I truly appreciate their sharing their knowledge with me and calming my anxiety when I didn't know what the alert that came up on my screen meant. So to Austin and his team then you for everything.

  I called Gills Point S Tire at 4:45 pm and they worked me in the following morning. They did a great job, were professional and explained my car issues to me. Highly recommend!

  I usually go to the point s tire in Keizer as my first go-to whenever I have any vehicle problem just to see if they're equipped to handle it, which in most cases they are except when it comes to very technical things like having the correct machine in order to change a timing belt on a diesel Passat for example. I go to them because they always have had the best prices, and as a consumer I definitely compare when it comes to expensive things like auto mechanics. But for almost any day-to-day problem they can definitely help you. This particular time, the Keizer location referred me to the Salem location because I had a fuel related problem and they were very transparent about what they could or could not do in terms of what specialization level of staff were present at each location. I needed an oil change anyways, and I asked them for the price and then I let them know that I had a coupon from a competitor for a different price and they immediately price matched it. I think that's a very huge sign of good faith in business dealings and it also shows that they are community-oriented and not just a bunch of corporate zombies in mechanics outfits. They checked out my car and found no problems, the inspection was completely free, and during the oil change they discovered that a rodent had begun building a nest under my hood somewhere and so they removed that as well. I have no clue who Gil is, but the district manager is named Troy and I've often interacted with him when I've been on location at shop and I can tell you that the entire operation is being run very very well and they are the best of both worlds in terms of being very broad in location, yet local and customer-centered in their dealings. I'll always check gil's first before any other place. Asking costs nothing!
