Good view of the mountains and far enough from the interstate to not keep me up
Nice BW in a high traffic area, but right across the road from Rogue River. Pet friendly which is always a major plus, though not having the option of an elevator, those with older dogs or dogs with joint issues may want to reconsider.
Staff was very courteous and the room was very well kept. Hotel was quiet, another plus.
There seemed to be several families and older couples staying here so that should tell you something about the safety and area of this BW.
All and all if we ever find ourselves in Rogue River again this will be where we will stay.
Great taqueria within a very short walking distance, as well.

I had a very disappointing experience during check-in that set the tone for my entire stay. From the moment I arrived, the front desk agent, David, was neither welcoming nor friendly. I greeted him politely and had all my documents ready, but he immediately responded with a dismissive comment about my booking source and acted as if assisting me was an inconvenience.
While processing my reservation, he appeared frustrated, muttering to himself and saying things like “this won’t work” without explaining what was going on. I was left confused and unsure if there was an issue with my booking. When I mentioned that I had a dog, he informed me that I hadn’t booked a pet-friendly room and that there would be an additional fee. While I understand policies, the lack of clear communication and professionalism made the situation unnecessarily uncomfortable.
The interaction became more concerning later. When I returned to the front desk for water, I observed the same agent warmly assisting another guest—smiling, taking his time, and offering complimentary bottles of water. However, when it was my turn, his demeanor noticeably changed. He hesitated before giving me water and only explained after I questioned it that complimentary water was reserved for “diamond level” guests.
While I understand that loyalty perks exist, the stark difference in how I was treated compared to another guest was disappointing. Good customer service should be consistent and respectful for all guests, regardless of status. A simple explanation and a courteous attitude would have made a significant difference.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inconsistent treatment made this stay frustrating. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests are treated with basic courtesy and respect.

Fantastic location. Now that we will be in the area more frequently, this will be our go-to stay. I highly recommend staying here!
Stayed for Boatnik Saturday night to Monday morning. Had a new guy check me and my wife in and he was hauling our luggage up the stairs to the second floor since they have no elevator. That was nice.
Shower in the morning, hah! Old fashioned fixed multi jet selection heads attached to a lower pressure water source which luckily is hot enough.
Room fixtures dated. Good tv and wifi though.
My biggest beef with this place is a joke of a breakfast. Monday with an hour to go on a sold out hotel, egg patties cool warm, omletes gone, meat looked sad, potatoes gone. Bread mostly gone, mini muffins almost all gone. A hot holder with the label burritos empty. Fruit is minimal. Made a waffle, couldn't find syrup. Tuesday an hour earlier, eggs were there but cool to the touch. Potatoes were patheticly limp and damp from being in the holder to long. Meat was better, fruit and juice were present, syrup was found easy enough. Yoghurt was partially frozen at the bottom.
While eating, watched clean up girl look in hot holder and dump the more pathetic looking potatoes on top of the halfway decent ones. She did not clean off dry cereal area or waffle batter spill. Apparently she's not qualified to cook and it seems that is front desk job and he is busy trying to check out people and set up for today's check in's. So the food suffers.
If you want a real BW look somewhere else.
