  The manager needs to have a talk with the staff about the service. In general you are supposed to be as helpful and positive as possible. Being polite, saying please, and thank you, and in general using a pleasant and respectful tone is the way to be. Perhaps putting a smile on before you go to work is helpful. Basic courtesy and basic respect is in needed.
