★☆☆☆☆ This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a Subway. I placed a pickup order for a Bacon, Lettuce & Tomato (BLT) sub. Before I even drove away, I opened it up and was going to eat in my car. It had so little lettuce that you could barely tell it was a BLT. Since lettuce is literally one of the main ingredients I’m paying for, I went back inside and asked if they could add a little more. A young Caucasian girl who identified herself as Callie (working Friday night) asked to see the sandwich. She agreed to add more lettuce but immediately started explaining their policy on lettuce portions. I told her that on a BLT, I would expect more lettuce because it’s literally part of the name of the sandwich. She said no, the amount is the same as every other sandwich. I asked, “So even though I’m paying for a BLT, you wouldn’t put any more lettuce on it than any other sandwich?” She again said no. I also asked if they could toast it again because the bacon looked white, floppy, and barely cooked. She did, but throughout the interaction her attitude became increasingly rude. She added only a small amount of lettuce again, and by that point I just wanted to leave. When she asked if it was “good,” it came across with obvious attitude, so I simply said, “It’s good enough.” As she handed my sandwich back, she told me I was “being difficult.” She then sarcastically said, “Have a nice day, come back again.” I replied, “Probably not.” As I was walking out, she said loudly, “don’t come back again.” I turned around and asked, “Excuse me, what did you just say?” She repeated, “Don’t come back again.” I then asked for her name, and she said it was Callie. I understand restaurants have portion guidelines, but there is absolutely no excuse for speaking to a customer this way. I wasn’t asking for free food, I was simply asking for a BLT that actually had lettuce on it and bacon that was properly toasted. Management should review this incident and the security camera footage from Friday, July 30th, 2027 night. No customer should ever be treated this way for asking to have their order corrected.
