  Went there today to see why my check engine light was on and the guy that helped me was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend and go back!

  The staff who work here are amazing. There are three auto parts stores within a mile of me. I always choose this advanced auto because of the service I receive. Today was no exception. As I was driving my car, it suddenly started very severely acting up. I was so worried. I stopped in to see if someone would be able to run a code for me and find out what was wrong. I was greeted with a smile by Caleb. He came out right away, plugged it in and came up with a code for cylinder 2 misfire. That was a great relief. He asked me my mileage and said they should’ve been replaced at 100,000 miles which I didn’t know. I was past that. He offered to replace them for me since they were staffed properly and there weren’t any other customers in the store who needed helpat the time. I was so grateful because I’m a girl and I don’t know how to do these things. Right then another coworker of his, Josh happened to pull up. He was just stopping by and was not even on the clock. Caleb consulted with him a little bit because Caleb is used to working on diesels and Josh is used to working on my kind of engine. Caleb took all of the old spark plugs out. He showed me the spark plugs and they were completely burnt off and they even smelled burnt. They were both so helpful and kind. Caleb let me watch so in the future maybe I would be able to do something myself. He explained everything that he was doing. He also recommended that I replace the ignition coil. He explained why it’s best to replace those when you replace the spark plugs instead of waiting for them to go out. He said that he understood people usually wait until they go out to replace them due to the cost, but honestly, even though they’re a little more than spark plugs, I feel like it would be well worth it to replace them preemptively so I am going to buy those as well. Anyway, my whole point is Caleb and Josh were so amazing.! They took time to help me because I didn’t know what to do. And as a side note, I was very very disstressed when i came in, because my dad is on hospice and not expected to make it. and I have to travel to Columbus… 70 miles from where I am tonight. I was afraid I would not be able to get there to see him now. They made a huge difference!!!! Something that probably seemed small to them, but was huge to me! I hope they know how much they are appreciated. If they offered help when there was nothing in it for them.I hope they understand how a small act of kindness is sometimes everything to the person on the other end.
