  If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went to return brake pads and rotors in the original box in which they were received. They refused the box saying that it had a hazardous material diamond on the box. They refused to listen or even consider shipping the package even though it had a prepaid return UPS label. I went to another UPS location where the clerk had a brain and returned the item with no problem. I already received confirmation of the ACCEPTED return. A simple chart provided for free by the federal government indicating ALL of the standard HAZ-MAT labeling is readily available online. To be fair, I researched the symbol on the box after it got shipped. I found that it meant "Limited Quantity". I researched and printed the UPS guidelines which say it CAN be shipped. BUT it has to be in the container WITH the marking because THAT packaging meets the safety requirements. As marked, it could only be shipped by ground, which it was. No extra paperwork is required. (I'm speculating it has to do with the fact that the brake rotors are in plastic bags with oil on them to prevent rust.) ONE, knowing your job is knowing what the symbol means. I found out and obtained the UPS guidelines online and printable. IT'S THEIR JOB TO KNOW!!! TWO, If I would have repacked the parts in a box without the symbol and taken it in, they probably would have shipped it. BUT that actually would have been illegal! Also, THEIR JOB TO KNOW!!!
