  Can't give me the correct part to save their life. Bought a battery last week for 2013 Kia Optima, didnt even fit the car. I assumed it was my fault, I must have mistyped a number or gave incorrect info. They say go on the app next time and it'll tell you for sure if it works for your car. Bought a starter today, doesnt fit the car AGAIN! I luckily have screenshots to prove the app says it fits exactly for my Optima, I call and tell them this. I tell them its not their fault but I also dont understand why this keeps happening. She offered the same part at a premium price of $200 higher and said thats all she can do, they dont control the app or website then, says its better to come in person so they can identify your vehicle properly! first advice: go to app. 2nd advice: go in person to make sure its right. But neither will be correct. Sadly, we did not reach a resolution. I understand it is not their fault, however it is the companies fault whom they work for; which resulted in defensive tones and an argument rather than a simple solution! I do not appreciate being defensive or argumentative when I just need help. As the manager kept saying, "Im trying to make sure you dont have this same problem in the future." But it shouldnt be a problem to begin with, especially twice. As the saying goes; Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me for trusting them again!

  Very bad customer service skills. I just called and they told me a price and I asked if cheaper and they repeated there selves right away and I said ok thank you and they just hung up. If you don’t like your job just leave

  I came in reading Ohio advance Auto parts i. I was feeling brave enough to challenge myself to learn how to change my own oil in my vehicle to save money. I entered the store an was greeted by Scottie. I told him what I was going to do and asked him what I needed. He looked up my vehicle and got my oil and filter. Then he asked me if I had the proper tools an I was puzzled. As he began to explain what I may need he was absolutely right. I left the store with oil filte,r drain pain, filter wrench, shop towels, He helped me to assure I was all prepared for the challenge. I was able to get it done with his advice and help. Thank you so much Scottie. Much appreciated
