You would think a small town like Jefferson would be grateful for the extra business and support when people come into town for big events.
Yesterday was A-Tech graduation, which was amazing and held at Jefferson High School. Families came from all over Ashtabula County to watch their child or children graduate. Most of us spent about 4 hours there, from 5 PM until almost 9 PM, celebrating such a big achievement.
After such a long evening, a lot of families naturally wanted to stop somewhere quick for food. We decided to stop at Subway in Jefferson, and honestly, the customer service was awful from the moment we walked in.
Instead of feeling welcomed or appreciated, it felt like we were a burden. After supporting a local business on a busy night like that, the attitude and complaining were completely unnecessary.
As far as I’m concerned, I will not be stepping foot in the Jefferson Subway again.
