URGENT NOTICE OF SAFETY CONCERN
I am filing this formal grievance after three separate attempts to resolve this through the standard complaint line. I am being ignored while the hostility from the driver assigned to my home continues to escalate. I am a 66-year-old resident with mobility issues, and I no longer feel safe with this individual appearing at my residence.
DETAILED INCIDENT LOG
INCIDENT 1: Physical Aggression & Impatience
Context: I had two packages for pickup. I had called the service line beforehand and confirmed that I had one prepaid package and one requiring a label from the driver. I was instructed to give both to the driver.
The Event: I gave him one package turn to get the other one at which time he was walking away I said wait wait there's another package he refused to return got to the truck and said you bring it to me. The driver always parked on the street rather than coming to the side door. Because of my mobility issues, it took me a moment to walk across the grass to meet him. He was visibly annoyed at being "held up." When I reached the truck, he snatched the package out of my hands with physical nasty aggression.
INCIDENT 2: Verbal Hostility & Gaslighting
The Event: Several months later, the same driver returned. When I calmly mentioned that I recognized him from the prior "snatching" incident, he became extremely nasty. He yelled, "I don't even know you!" despite the prior formal report. His demeanor was unprofessional and intimidating.
INCIDENT 3: Recent Harassment & Refusal of Service (Approx. 5:56 PM)
The Event: I heard the truck driving at a high rate of speed through the neighborhood. When I met him at the door, he was immediately hostile.
Verbal Abuse: He yelled at me, calling me a "liar" regarding our previous encounter.
Degrading Conduct: He explicitly stated, "I am not taking the package out of your hand," and forced me to drop my package on the ground like a piece of trash before he would touch it.
Escalation: He claimed he had "it all on tape" and became so aggressive that I had to inform him I was calling the police and the complaint department for a third time.
FORMAL DEMANDS FOR RESOLUTION
IMMEDIATE ROUTE REASSIGNMENT: I am formally demanding that this specific driver never return to my address again. There is a clear personal vendetta and a lack of professional restraint that makes his presence a liability.
"DO NOT DELIVER/PICK UP" ORDER: I request a permanent flag on my address (Route 43123) ensuring this driver is barred from servicing my home.
EMPLOYMENT RECORD: This report must be added to his permanent file. His behavior—forcing a customer to drop a package on the ground and calling them a liar—is a violation of UPS's core service standards.
SUPERVISORY CONTACT: I am requesting a direct response from a supervisor to confirm that this change has been made. I pay for these services and should not have to live in fear of the person delivering my mail.
"I do not want this man to lose his livelihood, but I will not have my peace or safety compromised at my own home."
Respectfully,
Marlon D. Henson
