I love Subway, but On my first visit, the young lady at the counter was unfriendly and told me protein bowls were no longer offered when I tried to order the Chicken Bacon Ranch bowl. She gave incorrect portioning, charged me $2 for one egg (just cut in half), and my order ended up close to $14.
A few days later, I ordered a salad online, since on my first visit I was misinformedor mislead. The app still listed protein bowls, but my salad came out mostly meat with barely any veggies, in particular lettuce or spinach which was the whole purpose of a salad. When I went back to show the employee, he refused to remake it and admitted he intentionally left out the extra ingredients I requested, because he said he thought it would not fit, but there was plenty of space in the bowl. Then, he looked at my name and said "your name is Jorge... I'll make sure I remember your next every time" but it was not what he had said but how he said it. It freaked me out because it made me feel like if I do not watch him make it, he could do something to my food. It was the grin and the tone of voice he used that creeper me out. When I asked for a manager he said they were not there, when I asked for the store number or name of the manager he refused, so I had to force him to take my number and call me.... which this was over 3-4 days ago, and obviously he did not care to give my number to the manager.
As someone who has worked at Subway, I know what good customer service looks like—this location is not meeting expectations. I won’t be returning.
