On June 23, 2026, at approximately 3:58 p.m., my two daughters entered this Subway location to purchase food after their summer program. Upon entering, they immediately observed an employee behind the counter aggressively yelling at a Black female customer regarding her order. Shortly afterward, another customer, a Black male, was also treated in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner.
According to both of my daughters, the customer clearly requested American cheese, and the employee even repeated the order back to him, to which he confirmed it was correct. Despite this, the employee proceeded to put bologna cheese on his sandwich instead of American cheese. When the customer politely questioned why the incorrect cheese had been used, the employee became extremely agitated and began yelling at him, insisting that he was the one who was wrong. The customer ultimately chose to leave the restaurant rather than continue the confrontation. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee became even more upset after he left.
When it was my daughters’ turn to order, they experienced similar treatment. The employee appeared visibly frustrated and took that frustration out on both of them. They were informed that ordering a sandwich with half one type and half another was not allowed. Additionally, when one of my daughters attempted to use a valid coupon, the employee stated that the location does not accept those coupons.
As a result of the employee’s behavior and unwillingness to provide respectful customer service, both of my daughters decided to leave without purchasing any food. As they were leaving, the employee called both of my daughters “stupid.”
This level of customer service was completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. No customer should be subjected to this type of treatment. Based on this experience, my family will not be returning to this location.
