  This man must be a celebrity with the company I seen pass reviews I was sent here from Canada from a friend and ask for John he happen to be at the store when I got there and it was everything I expected and more I was overheating had to make the sabers game came there he assisted me with my antifreeze and motor oil cap also was taking care of 3 people at once with a timely respectful manner I just got back across the border and just wanted to leave a review to let this company know how great this guy did me if it wasn't for him I'd be stuck in Buffalo NY he even assisted me putting my headlight in perfect instructions better than YouTube this guy knows his stuff thank you so much John I also filled the survey out on the bottom of the receipt you told me about. Thank you see you soon when I'm back in the states whether it's to purchase something or just say hi . Keep being the person you are you'll make it for brother. Teach customer service to people that don't have it because you got the gift of gab. Thank you again big buy see you soon.

  I’ve been to so many auto part stores in buffalo, and i’ve never been taken care of like i was @ advance auto parts on transit. First time i’ve ever been greeted when walking in the door. first time i didn’t have to ask for help. first time i didn’t walk around looking for things without any help. i don’t know who this john cox guy is, but he made me wanna break something on my car so i could come back to the store. Best salesman i’ve ever met. Great personality, and he knew so much about all the products and where everything was. Another employees was asking him where something was, and he said last aisle 2 hooks down; on a part that i’ve never heard of in my life. I don’t write reviews, but this was the best experience if ever had. I wish i could have him sell for me. That is what customer service is. I was amazed.

  I really want to start off letting this company know I have been in leadership of O'Reilly's for 18 going on 19 years and never left a review for another auto part store no hatred just seen no reasons to but after dealing with Mr. John Cox witch I thought was the store manager I immediately wanted him to run one of my stores he responded I'm going to advance this advance way great guy I am in the Rochester area in management but came here for some parts for me and my son's car and walked out buying a lot more due to the customer service level at it's highest and knowledge this young man brought to me as I walked through the doors knew feature items of the month and all sales and deals in store also had a lot of good information that I didn't even have to ask you can tell he studies and loves his job. I want to give him a very big shout out for helping me with everything making my visit easy installing my wipers fastest I've ever seen especially the back one with the clip and spring without breaking it like many other locations have in the past. I hope you guys really enjoy this employee because I enjoyed everything second talking and doing business with him if you go to advance in williamsville ask for John Cox for the best experience! Thanks a lot bud I will be shopping with you again soon when In the area keep up the great work. 10 stars Shane

  So to start off I’m from Canada so I come a little anxious as it is when shopping on the u.s side but meeting John at advance auto parts in Williamsville was the best u.s store visit I’ve ever had I didn’t have to wait to be greeted soon as the door opened it was like a first hand thing he even walked and showed me what promotions and sales were taking place all throughout the store also helped me with everything and more he could of I didn’t know what to do but want to open a company just to hire this man if you go to 4101 transit road ask for John I don’t know his position but I can tell he’s up in the ranks by his customer service and knowledge of many things I will be back and will definitely be sending all my friends from Canada to this location thank you John and advance auto ! And just to add one more thing they have really good promotions right now I would have knew none of this if it wasn’t for Mr. Cox I called the store to asked his last name so I can include that in here that’s how much this meant to me thank you so much guys need more workers like this for many companies.
