  The best UPS staff ever, including the senior staff/supervisor/manager! I visited the store today (Wed, Aug 19) at 3pm. They're so helpful and helped me with my package right away. They work fast and efficiently, definitely my favorite UPS branch so far.

  I had a disappointing experience at this location. I was charged a $3 handling fee simply for dropping off a package because they needed to tape it. This fee was not made clear in advance, and the explanation felt unreasonable. What was more disappointing was the customer service. The interaction was not friendly or helpful, especially compared with the UPS Store on 18th Street and 7th Avenue, where I’ve dropped off similar packages without being charged and the staff has always been courteous and accommodating. I paid the fee because I didn’t feel like walking to the other location, but I won’t be returning to this store. There are better options nearby if you value transparent service and a better customer experience.

  I came into ups to drop off some Amazon packages a couple days ago and Jamel has been absolutely amazing and provided amazing customer service , he was able to help me return my Amazon packages and I’m so grateful for him , I will always return as long as he’s working !

  I reside in the meat packing district of the West Village and operate a shipping carrier company. The majority of my packages are shipped via UPS, the location at 511 6th Ave is extremely convenient, particularly for overnight shipping. My primary point of contact at this location is Ginet, who streamlines the process efficiently. She is knowledgeable, highly professional, and her presence ensures a seamless experience. Numerous clients of mine have also utilized this location and consistently provide positive feedback regarding Ginet's outstanding performance.
