  (Update) really don’t go here. The price per signature for a notary is apparently only 2 dollars but I was charged 5.5 dollars….seriously something is wrong here. Simple drop off are fine but do not book a notary appointment. I had an appointment at 4pm and was told the notary guy was not there yet. He did not show up for 15 min…what is the point of a reservation honestly. Just book somewhere else. Ridiculous.

  I had to pack and ship a large musical instrument. I called the UPS store at 541 on 3rd Ave TWO TIMES - once just before leaving my apartment to confirm they had a box large enough to pack and ship this instrument. I was ASSURED they did and that hey could do it. When I got there, they UNAPOLOGETICALLY told me that they did not have a box large enough to pack the instrument. I politely reminded them that I called twice and was told they could do it. The guy who I spoke to both times on the phone immediately ran and hid in the back and would not come out. I asked for his name and they girl at the counter would not give it to me. I asked her name and she said Miriam. I asked Miriam if there was any way she could help me. She was extremely dismissive and BEYOND rude. Simply saying, "No." She had ZERO concern for my situation, that THEY contributed to by telling me they COULD pack and ship it and to come over. No, "I'm sorry that we told you to come over...I'm sorry we misled you..." or "Let's see what we can do to help." Nothing like that. Just completely rude and dismissive. I had to lug the instrument to a different UPS store and thankfully, the people at this store were KIND and PROFESSIONAL. It was like night and day. They didn't have a box big enough, so they put 2 boxes together and quickly and efficiently packed it for me. In the end, I couldn't have been happier that Miriam and the guy who's name they refused to provide, were so rude, dismissive, and unprofessional because now I do all my business at the UPS store on 105 E 34th St.

  I didn’t tape my box and your staff wanted to charge three dollars just for a strip of tape . I wanna bring this to an attention because I think she’s just charging that money for herself… she claimed it has always been like this, but I’ve been to this location many times and other people would just taped it for me for free.

  If the website says open until 5pm on Sundays, then that’s what it should be. I show up at 4:30 and they were closed. Plz change on site if hours are not correct
