Maybe Fed Ex should take delivery classes from Amazon 🤪
If you go to FedEx and you pay for two day delivery, know that that will not happen, you will not get your package in two days.
You will pay an exorbitant amount of money.
They will tell you that the shipment will arrive in two days,
you will even get an email from Fed Ex the day before saying that the package will be delivered the next day and give you a timeframe and then you will not receive the package.
You will not even get an email telling you that the delivery date has been changed, you have to figure that out yourself when it’s a day late and then you have to call them which we all know how that goes nowadays to get a live person on the phone……
This was a shipment that had to be delivered within that two day window, it was made abundantly clear quite a few times
and now it is going to be a five day delivery, yet FedEx is still going to keep the entire amount that it charged for the two day delivery.
Because this billion dollar company really needs to keep collecting exorbitant amounts of money from customers so they can continue to not meet the expectations that they literally set the customer up for.
and customer service, other than some customer representative, reading off a sheet of paper how they are sorry for your inconvenience and that they understand your frustration, there really is no customer service at FedEx.
Lesson learned.
Fed Ex is not the company of integrity that it used to be when it first started.
Now it’s just, collect as much money as possible and do the least amount of service that you possibly can to get away with, basically stealing from customers.
Because I don’t know many other professions where, if you did your job poorly, that you would still get paid, yet Fed Ex thinks it’s ok to charge an insane amount of money for a job poorly done or in this case, not done at all.
