I won’t be back. My boyfriend and I walked into Dior’s handbag boutique at Bergdorf, and instead of a greeting, the two sales associates completely ignored us ( a man and a woman). Instead of the friendly greeting I’ve grown accustomed to during my frequent trips to Dior, the two sales people were engrossed on their phone, laughing it up, without any regard to us. I looked around the boutique a bit, hoping that they would redeem themselves, but they never once even looked at us. My boyfriend, who was extremely put off, wanted to leave, but I did not. I wanted to see how long it would take them to acknowledge our presence. It was not until 5mins later when another sales associate appeared on the floor that we were greeted. With a smile, I responded, “you know, you are the first person to greet us since I’ve been in this store.” The other two, who were right next to me, immediately apologized, but I shot them a look, as I did not appreciate the fake apology and turned my attention back to the professional sales person who actually treated me with respect. I thanked him, but I informed him that I would not be purchasing today and left. I am an avid fan of Dior’s handbags and even had my medium cloud blue caro bag on ny shoulder when I entered the store. As a repeat customer who has always really appreciated Dior’s customer service, I was extremely put off. I went in looking for my next lady Dior, but there was no way I would give those first two a commission. Instead, I went to the Dior at Saks and made my purchase. Those two need to understand that their behavior was unacceptable. I do not recommend. There are two other Dior locations on Fifth Avenue - if you want to shop Dior, go to one of those.i
