  Be very careful if you purchase their suede leather bags. I loved this bag but for something that costs so much, I was never told that it’s extremely sensitive to water and not at all waterproof. I wore mine out for the first time, and it unexpectedly started drizzling 🌧️. A few raindrops landed on the bag, leaving visible water spots. I assumed they’d fade after a few days, but they never did. I brought the bag back to the store, hoping they could help. Instead, this male Asian sales associate simply said, “Well, don’t wear it in the rain next time.” That response made me feel completely helpless. Of course I wouldn’t intentionally take such an expensive suede bag out in the rain, sometimes the weather changes unexpectedly. I left the store feeling so disappointed and ended up paying another $250 to have the bag professionally restored. If you’re buying one of their suede bags, make sure you understand how delicate it is before making the purchase.

  Love Balenciaga, we were visiting and wanted to see the store. The customer service was incredible, and there was a very nice and knowledgeable black guy helping me (I don’t remember his name.) He talked to me about the brand while I was shopping, and helped me with trying on. He even let me try on a pair of pants that Balenciaga doesn’t even make anymore! Love Balenciaga and the next time i’m in NY, I will be coming back.
