It's a pretty standard Kinko's FedEx. I wanted to scan to email a rather large document. Staff were pleasant and welcoming but insisted that I needed to pay about $355 for that. It was busy, so we stepped off for a huddle & think.
We used to let folks scan to email for free at my library, maybe the PL in Ithaca might?
YES! Nearly the same set-up as Kinko's, no wait, self-service, maybe 10 minutes all-in. Thanks to TCPL! Use your PL for the win, every time!

Do NOT send anything valuable to this location. Not sure what's up with it, but I have yet to have a single experience here where they did something right on the first try.
Most recently, they told us they'd received a package on 4/29 that we had 5 days to pick up. When we got there 3 days later, they told us they'd actually received it on 4/22, and had already shipped it back to the sender before they even told us it had arrived. Then they told us we had to reroute it ourselves because of their mistake, and that they wouldn't help with the process. When we called the provided number, we were essentially told "oops sorry, nothing we can do about that."
Also, the AI line they make you go through to reach an agent is beyond useless, and only serves to slow down any process you'd want to resolve over the phone.

Fast service and the manager Justin has the best customer service skills I've seen in a long time. Genuinely nice guy. Can tell he actually enjoys his job and interacting with customers.
