    OVERALL, things were fine. HOWEVER, I have a major issue with how I was treated. The employees did not greet me when I walked in, even after making eye contact, which was super weird because I approached the register clearly looking for assistance. The employees then bickered over who would help me, and then proceeded to ask me for my license so they could put me in the system. Why the hell do you need my license and why the hell do I need to be in the system? I’ve worked retail and I know that the employees are just trying to get their monthly sign-ups. It’s a really shitty way to do it tho. Scummy.

    My brother and I been coming here for years the staff here is like family always willing to help. Always got the parts and material I need. Eugene is a familiar face in staff always helping me look for the best deals and helping me in any way. Will continue to go there for all my automotive needs.

    My Optima battery which Is still is under warranty didn’t start in the morning. The battery was dead. I came into advanced, spoke to Oscar, who was nice enough to give me black gloves , tools and asked me to swap the battery because he was a little busy and bring it back inside. I came back inside with the battery that’s dead but had just enough juice to get me to advanced. Oscar was busy with another customer, so Eugene decided to check the battery and told me there’s nothing wrong. He then proceeded to tell me that I had to wait 45 minutes while he charges the battery which I did once I got the battery back I asked him since there’s only two weeks left for the warranty. What happens if I have another problem with this battery he shrugged his shoulders and said well if it’s not a warranty it’s out of warranty. That’s atrocious customer service by the way he then refused to give me a pair of black gloves to wear so my hands don’t get filthy and said they’d be a dollar. unlike Oscar who gave me gloves but those gloves ripped while taking the battery out. This has been a horrendous experience. I will never come back to this advanced. Maybe I’ll never come back to advanced as a corporation ever I’ll just go to AutoZone because they don’t treat me like I’m a piece of garbage.

    I went to Advance to buy a new battery. The counter guy was both friendly and helpful. The whole process from giving him my vehicle info to him finishing the install was less than 20 minutes. To quote the Terminator, "I'll be back."
