  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Advance Auto Parts. I purchased an A/C compressor from them for my car and was told it came with a 5-year warranty. After about a year, the compressor failed. I contacted them, and they replaced it under warranty. I then paid $300 out of pocket to a mechanic to have the replacement compressor installed. Shockingly, the replacement failed after only ONE WEEK. When I contacted Advance Auto Parts again and explained that the replacement part had lasted only one week, they refused to replace it. This is completely unacceptable. A warranty means very little if a replacement part can fail within a week and the company refuses to stand behind the product. I have already lost time and money, including $300 in labor costs, because of a defective part. Based on the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend Advance Auto Parts to anyone. Customers deserve reliable parts, clear warranty policies, and a company that stands behind the products it sells.

  There great in a pinch. But way to expensive. If I can wait I order from Amazon or ebay....and I usually have to go to 2 of there stores as one store doesn't have everything I need.

  Very helpful employees, a couple employees though weren't very knowledgeable when it came to vehicles or mechanics , they should def hire more ppl that know about cars an how to fix them .
